August 2001: tour through Norway to the North Cape

After crossing the East Sea by ferry from Kiel to Oslo, we drove up to the Lofot islands via Trondheim and Bodo crossing the Arctic Circle.

After a whalesafari there we continued our trip via Alta and Hammerfest to the North Cape. Then we have seen Tromsoe and made a short tour with the Hurtigruten. Fortunately we were able to catch some fish (102 cm length and 10.8 kg weight are not too bad for the first time!)
